Form 2210 can not be deleted on windows 10 cd home and business. When I try to delete it then it comes back and says not filled out yet.

This started with the latest update.  Something's wrong.  I'm getting a refund.

There is a known problem.  See this TurboTax support FAQ - <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4608028-check-this-entry-form-2210-part-ii-box-a-should-not-be-che...>

It sure is sad that no one at turbo tax told their own support staff about this problem. I called and had a TT support person "help" me she had me delete my cookies and cache. Of course did not help. Then she said it was strange and I should just ignore it.  TT should be ashamed of themselves.

When I posted to a different thread (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/7184663">https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/7184663</a>) about this problem, instead of offering a solution or even offering to help, SteamTrain posted this instead and closed the thread:

"ALL...THIS SOLUTION IS FORM A YEAR AGO !!

It does not apply to the problem incurred by the 14 Feb 2019 software update

...start a NEW question, and "eventually", a NEW solution will be found.

That's called "Shoot the Messenger".  Shame on both of you, TT and SteamTrain.  Now you have TWO demerits.

I encountered this problem using Turbo Online today. You can't simply delete form 2210, it is automatically regenerated to your return before you complete filing, then in just loops you back to the error. I got my federal and state returns rejected for this. Very unhappy.

Doug, this happened to me too.  2 times.  Then I figured out how to do it and eFiled successfully last evening both Federal and State.  Then, BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!, I got an email today from "TurboTax Customer Solutions" advising that the "return cannot be electronically filed. You must print and file your return by mail."  That's astonishingly wrong and irresponsible!!  So I immediately posted a feedback explanation to the linked site (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4612553-electronic-filing-rejection-code-f2210-003">https://ttlc.i...>) in the Yes/No feedback area (limited to 100 characters – can you believe it??).  Of course, they have not displayed my feedback, and they have not corrected their erroneous advisory email.  So, here's the answer: If Line A is checked, then click Explain under Line B and fill in the Additional Information Explanation Statement form with: "85% Waiver".  Yes, it's invisible and redundant w/r to Form 2210, but it satisfied the Feds and got my electronic return accepted.  And shame on TT for not fixing this and for not updating after I told them about the workaround!!!!

TurboTax shows I do not owe a penalty or have to file Form 2210, but error check at the end keeps telling me there are Form2210AI fields to fill in. Why?

Well, now instead of correcting their erroneous advice, they incorporated their email mistake an hour ago into the above linked page, telling people they have to print and file via mail.  This looks like it could impact large numbers of people who were under-withheld and who properly covered it via estimated tax payments.  And TT is now telling them all that they cannot eFile, which is simply not true.  And they are doing it on purpose because I've reported (the only way I could find) directly to that web page, as well as here.  So they know!  Incredible!!

The "85% Waver" comment on Line B worked like a charm.  Thank you so much.
