I received a notice of Tax Return Change - Revised Balance from the California Franchise Tax Board for my 2021 Form 540NR. TurboTax had reported no errors in my Federal, Virginia (resident) and California (non-resident) returns. All were E-Filed at the same time. In discussion with the FTB, they stated that Schedule S was not included with the E-File upload. Turbo Tax gave no indication that the Schedule S had failed to upload. I had to upload that form to them through their web portal.
When is TurboTax going to fix this? It happened with the 2020 return also.
