turbotax downloads

I purchased Turbotax Basic to do my taxes this year, and downloaded it. Then my son asked my to do his taxes, but I had to purchase the Turbotax home and business to do his. I was unable to download the business version, because I had downloaded the basic version (on the same computer). Intuit was contacted, and I was told I could do it, but then a few minutes later told I couldn't without an explaination. I like to store my tax returns and not delete them. Does anyone know why I can't download both onto my computer?

Did you get a 16 digit License Code for Home & Business?  There is a way to have 2 licenses. Under Help - Switch Product - Activate new product.

You cannot install two separate 2024 TurboTax desktop personal editions on the same computer.

All the TurboTax desktop editions include the same forms, schedules and worksheets.  You only get more help and guidance using the higher editions.

Decide which edition you want to use and then request a refund for the other edition.
