turbotax delux 2021 update failed

Attempted to run TT 2021 check s for updates find one but the update fails I manually down loaded  update R21 and that worked! But when I run TT it still check for update and fails. so I cannot run TT and CANNOT file my return

It might help to use a wired connection instead of WIFI.  The failure is due to internet speed not being fast enough.  I am glad you know how to update manually and sorry that the program keeps wanting you to update.  Updates happen on Thursday, so a manual update today may solve the issue.  

If your internet is satellite, you may have to find a place with faster internet and take your computer to that place to do your tax return.  In the past a manual update took care of this, but it may be that they changed the program and it no longer will skip the update.  Someone might have a better answer.
