The software is giving me the wrong instructions. It says that I have electronically filed my taxes and absolutely have 100% not filed my taxes electronically. The issue is when I print out my taxes the instructions tell me I have already filed (Wrong) and they don't give me instructions for paper filing on the printed turbotax coversheet. This is VERY bad and could allow people to think they have filed their taxes incorrectly. Plus the software is bad when it tries to do reviews. It ends up going in circles and never completes. Then the software never enables the ability to continue to file the return. but at this point, I know my taxes are done and I have reviewed all the issues, it is just that your software is not allowing the completion. So I skip ahead to Print the returns and that is when your software tells me that I already filed electronically (VERY BAD).

You want to file by mail? You have to pay your TurboTax fees before you can print the return.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
