Turbo Tax sharing

1) If I share my TT account and password with a family member, and my family member is going to download TT on her own computer, will my tax information be seen by my family member's computer OR will my family member be able to get my personal information/data?

2) Can my family member set up her own account and password when downloading my TT?

Please let me know as soon as you can.  Thanks.

No your family member will not see your tax return.  When you use the desktop download software, your tax return is not stored online.   It is only stored on your own hard drive or any back up device you use like a flash drive.   No, they cannot set it up the download under their own account.   Any installations/downloads of the software you purchased are linked to your own account.

The Desktop license is that you can download and install Turbo Tax on 5 computers that you own. You are not suppose to share it. They are enforcing it more now. See the End User License Agreement, scroll down to Section B Software and Services Terms

No, they will not be able to see your info and returns from another computer. The returns are only kept on the computer they were done on. They are not stored or saved on Turbo Tax online. They can still use their account to efile their own returns.
