Turbo Tax Refund - K-1 Issues Not Mentioned Until After Payment

Can I get a refund and do my tax return on my own?  I would not have paid for Turbo Tax if they stated I could not file until a later date.  I could file using other tax services much sooner.  This is owner negligence.  I don't even have entries to enter on a K-1 and chose "skip this section."  This is unreal.

If you did not receive a Schedule K-1 from a Partnership or from a S Corporation then you only need to delete the Schedule K-1 in your forms list.  

Click on Forms.  When in Forms mode locate the Schedule K-1 in the list on the left side of the screen.  Click on the Schedule K-1 to open.  Then at the bottom of the page click on Delete Form.

The answer assumes you are using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions.

If you are using the TurboTax online web-based editions, use this procedure to delete the Schedule K-1

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form
