Turbo Tax for Mac will not quit propeerly

I've used several versions of Turbo Tax for Mac over the years, and the last several versions would not quit properly when I use the command: File>Close or Turbotax>Quit Turbotax.  I've used Turbo Tax on two Macs during this period, and I had similar problems on both.  Mac software is up to date.  The only way to quit Turbotax is us the Mac Force Quit feature.  Any suggestions?
