Turbo Tax 2024 will not install

My Turbo Tax 2024 for windows downloads, but it will not open when I launch it.  I was never asked for activation code.  Tried several times.  I need help.

TurboTax offers the following solutions to download issues:

• Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
• Verify that you have administrator rights on your computer and TurboTax is running as administrator:
  • Right-click the TurboTax icon or setup icon and select Properties. In the Compatibility tab, select the Run this program as administrator box and select OK.
• In the Control Panel under Internet Options, add https:*.intuit.com to Trusted Sites. Set security level to Medium.
• Turn off antivirus software and Windows Defender.
• Add TurboTax Desktop to your allowed apps in Windows Defender.
• In the Control Panel under Internet Options, add https:*.intuit.com to Trusted Sites. Set security level to Medium.
• Turn off antivirus software and Windows Defender.
• Add TurboTax Desktop to your allowed apps in https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/product-delivery/troubleshoot-installati...Windows Defender.
• Clean up and defragment your hard drive.
• Run Windows Update to keep your computer up-to-date.
• Update your computer's hardware drivers.
• Update your security software for firewall, virus, and spyware protection.

Why won't Turbo Tas download

Sometimes the file can become corrupt during the download process.  If you have tried the above and TurboTax is still not working.  Close all open applications and download TurboTax from this link

I installed business 2024 ok and tried to install personal 2024 today. The program will not launch and the business 2024 will not launch. This was after the last windows update. Can you please let me know when the program will be fixed.

Open the Task Manager to be sure you don't have two TurboTax processes running.  If so, close them both and try opening the programs again.

Having 2 programs opened at the sate time was not the issue in my case.

Again, since I had a installed and working Turbotax Business 2024 installed and that version no longer works, I think it is a windows update conflict and hope it can be resoved by Turbotax.
