Are you trying to access your returns that were completed through TurboTax Online or were they completed on your computer using TurboTax CD/download?

What a scam, sure I can re-add everything from a PDF, but because I bought this on amazon I cannot import your data.  Intuit is just awful.

You filed your prior-year return(s) within your TurboTax Online account.  What you purchased through Amazon is the TurboTax software to prepare your tax returns on your personal computer.  Therefore, you will not be able to use the purchased download to access your prior returns.

I bought the TurboTax download from amazon, but can’t find a way to log in to my previous years’ accounts and info. Will I have to put in all information again?

If you are filing using the TurboTax download, your tax information is not stored on TurboTax servers. You will need to upload your 2018 .tax file. You can get this by logging in to TurboTax Online if that is what you used last year. If you used the desktop software, the file would be on your computer. Online, you can access your prior year returns using the Documents tab in the navigation. Please click here for more information.

Yes, it was done via Turbo Tax software bought it through Intuit. I have saved pdf file on my laptop. The Amazon Turbo Tax tried to get an access to my files on my laptop could not do it. I tried with clicking on my saved file to upload it would not do it, the program wants me to go step by step that is too much work. I may have to pay more to Intuit but I know that works.

@GMG1945  What are you trying to do?  Do you need to Transfer your 2019 return into 2020?  You need to have the file ending in .tax2019 on your computer.  Did you install the 2020 Desktop program?  It sounds like you are trying to use the Online version.  Did you buy 2020 from Amazon?  You need to download and install the program.
