These are both itemized deductions. You must upgrade to Deluxe to enter them. You get a tax break from itemized deductions if the total is more than the standard deduction. Tools for a W-2 job are an unreimbursed business expense. You can only deduct the amount of expense in excess of 2% of your AGI.
