Reporting statutory employee income

The following steps should be taken in order to report income as a statutory employee:

  1. Login to your TurboTax Deluxe account
  2. Click on the Federal tab on the left side of the screen
  3. Click on the ‘Wages & Income’ section
  4. Enter your W-2 information and make sure the ‘Statutory Employee’ checkbox is marked

The screenshot below will help guide you.

Please note that as a Statutory Employee you will be advised to upgrade to TurboTax Self-Employed in order to complete your Schedule C expenses.
