I received a 1099 Misc for my pay instead of a W2. I was hired on as contract labor. what I did was general labor, clean up work.

I do not own a company and I am not on the board or any family memeber. Just hired on as contract labor where they didn't take out any taxes

The fact that you got a 1099-Misc reporting your pay instead of a W-2, means that you do own your own "business." Since there was no employer to withhold payroll taxes, you are responsible for them.

You would enter your income on Schedule C Profit or Loss from Business. If you choose not to take expenses, you can use Deluxe. If you do want to take expenses, you will have to upgrade to Self-Employed.
