I am filing jointly with my wife. She has received 1042-S from her employer (I have W2). Based on 1042-S, she has paid $6200 federal tax. Where should we enter this info in Turbotax to get refund?

Here is some information I hope will be helpful to you;

Turbo Tax does not support form 1042-S, so you will need to enter it where it best fits based on the type of income received. For code 16 (for example)I hope this helps. that is miscellaneous income.

To report the income:
Select Federal Taxes
Select Wages and Income
Select Show More at Less Common Income
Select Start at Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
Select Start at Other income not already reported on a Form W-2 or Form 1099

If taxes were withheld, you will record these at:
Select Federal Taxes
Select Deductions and Credits
Select Show More at Estimates and other taxes paid
Select Start at Withholding not already entered on a W-2 or 1099

Thanks. Do I need to somehow attach her 1042-S form to our filing? If so, how?
