I'm trying to figure out how to remove Schedule C from my 2019 tax return. In 2019 I did not do any freelance work, but I did in 2018. When TurboTax copied my information from 2018 into the 2019 return it must have copied Schedule C. Is there a way to remove Schedule C and its worksheet from my 2019 tax return without having to enter all information on my tax return from scratch?

At times there some Schedule C losses that can be carried over from a previous year if they limited to a certain amount. You will have to be careful about deleting the information completely. A zero income will in effect have no impact on the Schedule C.
Thanks for your message VictorW9. I had no losses carried over from a previous year so am wondering if there is a way to delete Schedule C, and its worksheets, from my 2019 return. If you know of a way please let me know, otherwise I'm afraid I'll have to enter all of my data for 2019 from scratch. Thanks!
You can try deleting the schedule C as follows:
1. Find the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar and click on it
2. Click on Tools
3. Find Delete a Form and click on it
4. Look for Sch C in the list of forms and click on the option to delete it
Also, you can go to the business income entry in "Income and Expenses" and there will be an option to delete the business.
Thanks for your message Thomas. Unfortunately I do not have a left menu bar (at least not that I can find). I wonder if you are looking at the online version of TT? I buy the CD at Costco and install it directly on my computer. Hopefully I am just missing something easy. If so, please point it out to me!
Yes that is for the Online version. You can switch to Forms and delete it.
How to delete a schedule C that transferred over from last year. You do NOT delete it, you have to remove the business and close it out.
Thank you Volvo Girl. I switched to forms, found the button allowing me to delete the Sch. C form and worksheets and that solved my problem. I have not closed my business and plan to do more freelance work this year so did not want to close the business out.
