Yes, if you extended your tax return, the deadline is October 16, 2023. I suggest filing before that date, to ensure it gets filed on time, and avoids any potential rejections.

If you extended your 2022 1040 in TurboTax, on the day you filed the extension you would receive an e-mail from TurboTax indicating that it was extended.

Online preparation and e-filing will close down after the October deadline.   After that, you will need to use the downloaded desktop software  on a full PC or Mac to complete your return, and the return will have to be filed by mail.

If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline.  If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.

I tried call your 1800 number and its AI automated very fusterating not helpful. The texting bk n forth instead wat could be said in a minute is extremely fusterating. Is there a number where I can speak to a online Turbo tax Expert?

You have not attempted to post a complete question in the user forum---where it is very likely that we could answer.   

You say you did not like contacting support, so not sure what you want.  Do you want to upgrade and pay to talk to a tax expert?   If you are using online software you can pay an extra fee to upgrade to "Live" and have help from an expert.
