If you haven't filed already, you need to double-check everything related to the state settings, and the 1099-R entries you made in the Federal section.
Depending on the state, a few states have enacted new Retirment income exemptions in the past couple years. GO to yoru state's website and look for a download of their state income tax instructions for 2021, and read thru it to see if they have some new Retirement income exemptions that were not in place in prior years...perhaps you just got lucky.

Thank you....went on MA .gov website and found Senior Circuit Breaker Tax Credit for resident homeowners over 65, with a capped income (Single filer $62,000 income limit (from all sources), eligible to claim a refundable credit, including a 1/2 of water & sewer bill and a percentage of property taxes paid...max credit is $1,170 per year).
Your MA resident's principal home value can't exceed $884,000.
Thank you for the good advise!
