So my Federal tax return was paid out by SBTG? And $78 was taken out of it for a Fast Cash interest repayment? I did not ask for a Fast Cash payment via Turbo Tax.

I did not ask for a Fast Cash payment on my Federal Return, Nor was it delivered fast at all. It showed up in my account on time like normal.  Anyone else have a similar issue with turbo tax doing this?

The $78 was for the Turbo Tax fees.  There is no charge for the refund advance loan.  You are in Deluxe.  Deluxe is $39 plus an Extra $39 Refund Processing Service charge, which you could have avoided by paying upfront with a credit card.

What is the Refund Processing Service

So on the Page im viewing from SBTG says $39 - Deluxe And A $78 charge for "Fast Cash Advance interest Repayment" so a total of $117 was taken off my Federal Refund. So the $78 was just for turbotax fee's is what your saying?

I am having the same problem. I did not apply for a refund advance of any sort and I have an additional charge of 79 dollars for "Fast Cash Advance interest repayment". I did not take an advance. Why am I paying interest on it. There are additional feel for paying from my refund and filing state. So why is this here?

There is no fee for the Refund Advance. You can see what you are being charged for, please see this help article for more information.

How do I review my fees in TurboTax Online?

If you choose to have your Turbo Tax Fees deducted from your refund, there is a fee. Turbo Tax is not a bank. Therefore, Santa Barbara bank charges a fee for their service. If you choose this option, there is a page that explains the process and you have to agree to it in order to move on. After you read the page and choose not to agree to it, then you will have to pay your fees before you file.

This link will provide more information on the Refund Processing Fee.

@SForrestLO   Better tell someone to tell SBTPG to change that wording for the Refund Transfer fee from Advance or Fast Cash interest.  Users are posting about it, some with screen shots.

I was charge for a premium I did not ask for and over charge thru a third party bank over 200$ and would like to file a complaint about the 89 premium deluxe that was automatically added to my account from a third party
