Should I file as independent or should my dad claim me on his taxes?
Im 22 and moved in with my dad for almost a year now. Prior to moving in I worked for 6 months and earned 3,000, should I file as independent or should he claim me on his taxes?"

Should I file as independent or should my dad claim me on his taxes?
Your dad can claim you if:
- You are his son/daughter
- He provided more the half of your support
- You lived with him for more than half the year
- You are not filing a joint return with someone else
- You earned less than $4,050
