In the exact same boat, owe for unemployment, wmr says exact message as yours. I haven’t received any letters or anything, but i did log into unemployment site and there was a payment receipt dated feb 8  for the full amount owed to them. Still no refund or updates on wmr and offset line doesn’t work for me.

I called the IRS and they said it’s suppose to be deposited today but the bank may take a day or two to clear it 🤞🏼

What was your date on WMR? I finally got through to offset line but it says there’s none associated with my SS #. I’m waiting until after the 3rd before i call the IRS, just anxious as it was delayed last yr for proof of Marketplace HC.

Mines didn’t have a date just said if not before March 2 to call ... but I called today because I’m desperate lol

How did you get ahold of someone to tell you that?

What number did you call and did you talk with a real person who said it would be a day or two?

@DPierce920 , calling the IRS can be quite frustrating when trying to get a live person on the line at this time of year. I've called myself to create these steps as a workaround to get to a live agent.

Please call 1 (800) 829-1040 and follow the prompts below.

Press 1

Listen to the recording (it will not allow you to skip), then press 2

Press 1

Press 3

Press 2

Enter your social security number

Press 1

Press 1 to confirm the entry is correct

Next, please allow the menu options to be played but do not choose any of them. The recording will then say, "If you have not heard your topic, please hold". Afterward, the recording will say, "If you owe money and agree with the amount you owe, press 1", but do not press anything. The system will again say, "please hold". Then you will be transferred to a representative.
