Where is the control number on the 1099B form? My form does not have a shaded area in the top right with a control number.

Importing directions can differ from broker to broker. That sounds like something proprietary with your broker. What brokerage are you trying to import?

Mine is ComputerShare. I do not have the control number in 1099-B form as well. How can I proceed to import?

If your Computershare 1099-B does not have a control number contact Computershare and ask why your form does not have one. For the location of the control number see the screenshot below.
