When will form NJ-DOP be available in Turbo Tax because it looks like I can find it with Google for 2021?

It looks like Schedule NJ-DOP, Net Gains or Income From Disposition of Property, will be available on February 17, 2022. Please see the information here for the schedule and availability.

Can I file my federal return without completing the state return?  I am waiting for NJ-DOP.

@lcharles74  You can file your federal tax return now, then file your New Jersey return when Schedule NJ-DOP is available.

Yes you can. You can follow the instructions here to do so. You will need to ensure your federal return has been accepted before you can e-file the state @Icharles74.

Thank you.  I've typically filed my federal return before filing my state return.  I just was not sure if my Federal return was depedent on the information from form NJ-DOP.  I assume it is not, and can therefore proceed with filing my Federal return.

I already got my Federal refund and now waiting for the NJ Form which should be available February 17.

In trying to file my state return it keeps bringing me to correct the NJ-DOP. It brings me to "Check Entry" for NJ-DOP: Sch DOP, Line 4-Net gains. It says " This form may require an adjustment that has not been finalized for this release. You must obtain an update before you file your return in order to ensure all of the calculations are correct" 

Line 4 looks correct to me. But when I click "continue" it circles back to the same thing...

Form NJ-DOP shows as available now.  If you are using TurboTax CD/Download software, you'll want to make sure your software is updated. 

How do I update my TurboTax CD/Download software program?

If you are using TurboTax Online please try logging completely out of the TurboTax website, then clear your browser's cache and delete cookies.

It's Feb 18 2022 and I am still can't efile because TurboTax did not update this form yet. I am still getting the nj-dop error even after downloading the latest updates. Can someone help?

I tried it yesterday after I got a Turbo Tax update for New Jersey and it let me e-file.
