Not a tax professional - It's the way you filled out the form or the particular charitable contribution / deduction that is requiring a signature. Maybe if you change the way you are reporting the contribution that's driving the signature requirement, then maybe it will work. Another strategy would be to file without it and amend later via paper.
Did you figure this out? I am getting the same message and I've never received this message before. I have not donated any one item that was $500 or more. I really want to e-file. I can't figure out why I need to provide a signature for donated clothing.

Delete the form 8283
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen
Click on Tools
Click on Delete a form
This function is misleading because when you go to it, it says that Form 8283 is ready for print and e-file.
The form does appear ready to go. I efiled yesterday without problem. BB
I'm getting the same message. It's very frustrating. My donations are about the same as last year so I'm not sure what the problem is. 🤔
I was finally able to do it. Don't take tax advice from me, but the issue seemed to be that I lumped all my non-cash donations (clothing, etc. to goodwill) into one donation which put it way over the $5000 threshold that seems to now require an appraiser signature (Goodwill would never sign anything). What I did was delete that , split it up into multiple smaller (less than $5000) donations on mulitple dates. And then TT let me file! Both my federal and state forms were accepted! Good luck. It was so frustrating.

This is saying for 8382 is available to file but it is not. I just tried again
Just had to save, quit, relaunch, run update and form loaded and I was able to file. TY
Still not working
