When I finish with income and click on the "wrap up income" button, I get a spinning wait symbol then I'm kicked out to the login page. I have tried different browsers.

There are a couple of things that you can try to get past this snag,

  • Try closing TurboTax,
  • Compete a  disk cleanup,
  • Restart your computer.  

If this doesn't work try this:

  • If you've enabled pop-up blocking in your web browser, please turn it off and try again.
  • If it's still not working, try again using a different web browser. (For example, if you're using Chrome, try using Explorer or Safari instead.)
  • If those suggestions didn't help, try going back to your first browser and delete cookies.

Unfortunately, clearing the cache, deleting cookies, and restarting the computer hasn't worked. This is using Firefox, which is my default browser. I have also tried Edge and Chrome and have had the same issue.

 

"Free Edition (without PLUS): When you select Talk to a specialist, you'll be asked to add PLUS benefits first." Does this mean that I have to pay $30 to get tech support for an improperly functioning web page?

it may mean your computer system is outdated and not compatible with Turbo Tax. At this point you may wish to contact a specialist that can work through that section of the return with you. The specialists can look at your return on their screen to find out exactly what is causing this issue and suggest how you can take corrective action if needed.

My computer isn't the problem, the Turbo Tax web site is. Another member of my family has been working on and finished their taxes on this computer and it worked fine. Due to not being able to get technical support without paying the company that has the faulty program, I have erased all my data and deleted my account.

Multiple people are having this problem. I've also followed all the instructions about clearing caches and trying different browsers and nothing works.  I have the latest Mac OS and updates.  This is an issue with the Intuit system.  Let me tell you this service merry-go-round is appalling, and then you expect us to pay $30 for support when it's your product that doesn't work on the latest Chrome or Safari browsers.
