When do I enter my bank account number?

This is my first year using Turbo Tax Premier.  I am at the stage where I am reviewing the print copy prior to e-filing.  However, I am due a refund and have not been prompted to enter my bank account information.  It is showing up on the print copy as all X's.  When should I be prompted to enter my bank account and routing information?

You will be asked how you want to receive your refund when you go through to e-file your return.  You choose by direct deposit, then enter your banking information.

TurboTax 2020 CD never asked how I want to receive my refund when you go through to e-file your return. I do not expect a refund: however, I am waiting for my stimulus check.

If you are not receiving a tax refund or have taxes owed there is no option to enter a bank routing or account number.

I had finished my federal tax return and I was going into my state tax form and I got disconnected when I went to my email. I just want to get back to where I left off.

Log back in ... and return to the place you stopped.  Click on the STATE tab.
