When can I file for state taxes?

Some state forms are not yet ready, so you may have to wait for forms.  And   if you already e-filed your federal you will have to wait until it has been accepted by the IRS.  A state return cannot be accepted until the IRS accepts the federal return.

Lots of  federal and/or state forms are not ready yet.   You have to e-file your federal return first, and then your state.  The state will not accept a return until the IRS has accepted your federal return. The IRS begins to accept returns on January 23.  If you are waiting for federal forms you will also have to wait to file your state.

Well I tried to efile for California and i end up on a Blank screen after I see my refund amount for federal and state. Is there a known error issue ?

Please try logging completely out of the TurboTax website, then clear your browser's cache and delete cookies. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. If that doesn't work, try a different browser.
