What is IRS treas 310 tax ref

IRS Treas 310 is a normal ACH direct deposit refund or stimulus payment from a filed tax return, where there have been no offsets to the amount of the refund.   

The Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service's Kansas City Regional Financial Center will be disbursing all tax refund direct deposits on behalf of the IRS.  Information in the ACH Batch Header Record can be used to identify an IRS tax refund, as follows:

1. Company Name field will show IRS TREAS 310 (Note: 449 will appear instead of 310 for refunds which have been offset for delinquent debt); and
2. Company Entry Description field will show TAX REF.      @Pjcman2001

I am not understanding what you are saying so, how would a person know if it is there regular tax return or some form of stimulus payment? I checked my return on the IRS website  it said it was sent and a letter will be mailed showing why the amount changed. This was a HUGE amount taken away. The amount should not have changed all of the reason the gave for it changing none of the reason I fall under. I hope I can reach the IRS on the phone.

I received a direct deposit for $6.00 labeled IRS treas 310 tax ref.  Can you please tell me what exactly it might be?  My refund amount is supposed to be $3843.00 and I haven't received that amount yet.

I have a $1,400 IRS TREAS 310 ACH WAREHOUSE ACH Deposit (Pending). I am confused because my daughter was born Jan 2021 does this have to do with her? So confused and really hoping I do not owe and that this is not a mistake

That is the new 3rd stimulus check that the president just signed.  Everyone gets another 1,400.   It is based on your 2019 or 2020 return.  So it's not for you daughter.  It's for you.

No it's not as myself along with others have stated above. It's the Stimulus check/relief payment. It's what may have been missing from your last stimulus check, and after you filed 2020 taxes it showed what was missing. Same happened to me. And now with this new stimulus check which is pending in my bank now with the same 310 tax reference code as before.

That is the deposit in the bank account of the Stimulus payment.

That could be any refund from the IRS.  Just this minute I got my regular federal refund in my bank account.  It has the 310 description.  And my return still says only received at the IRS and topic 152.

I was wondering why did I receive$4,200 then I'm thinking it's the 3rd stemulus but I got a email saying it was posted from SSI prior the date shown for my 1,400 but it was supposed to be posted March 17th ...what's all this mean cause I haven't received 1,400 only that 4,200 and I've gotten my taxes so what's this 4,200?

4200 is 1400 x 3.  Are you married with 1 dependent or Single with 2?  You get 1400 per person.
