What is form 8582 and how can i remove it because it wont let me move forward?

Form 8582 is used to figure the amount of any passive activity loss.

If this is in your Maryland tax return, our team is working to resolve an error message in some Maryland state returns that give an error message about Form 8582 needing an update, even if there are no passive losses to report.

Some Maryland TurboTax customers are experiencing an issue when completing the review of their taxes. When reviewing their tax information, Form 8582 is generated with a message stating “Check this entry - Form 8582: Activity description - This form is not ready to be filed due a change in the federal form. It should be available soon.”

Hey Turbotax Folks!

Please stop stating that this is a "Maryland issue".  I am from Indiana and am receiving the same message about form 8582.  

Turbotax is stating that I cannot file my State return (via electronic or mail) until update form 8582 is released.  I have been receiving this message since January 24th.  

Please fix the problem.

We have been informed that the issue affecting Maryland returns has been resolved. If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please make your software is updated. If using TurboTax Online, please log out of the TurboTax website, then clear your browser's cache and delete cookies. If you are still having issues filing because of this issue, please post again here.

Just another Marylander facing the same problem with 8582. I take it that it is a bug in Turbotax  not the IRS tax form.
