W2 box 5

I'm a teacher in Texas so I understand why I don't have an amount in box 3 and 4. I do have Medicare tax withheld in box 6, but no amount in box 5. should there be an entry in box 5?

I believe your W-2 is filled out incorrectly. The amount of wages subject to Medicare tax should be in box 5. TurboTax will flag it as an error if there is an amount in box 6 and nothing in box 5. You should ask your employer for a corrected W-2.
