In the drop down box for box 14 of your W-2, report NYSDI as NY Nonoccupational Disability Fund.
The payment may be deductible as a state and local tax if you itemize your deductions on Schedule A Itemized Deductions.

So what category would NYPFL be under ?
Enter it as IRC Sec 125/Sec 18 Subject to NY tax.
On box 14 it only says "DI" would that go under other "not classified" OR New York Nonoccupational Disability Fund Tax?
also the itin number turbo tax says it may be expired but I called the irs and they said it is still active, what should I do in that case?
There should be disability on your w2, that could be it. DI could mean so many things. If you believe it is disability, then classify it as disability tax.
As for the ITIN, I think the program is just warning you to not let it expire. See Using an ITIN? How the PATH Act May Affect Its Expiration Date
