Hi! I've used Turbo Tax for many years and am also frustrated with the removal of the running tax total. I just contacted Turbo Tax to voice the frustration of so many current and now former users. It would be any easy fix for them to reinstall this feature and quit the loss of so many customers. I will probably be moving to another Tax company also. I hate the thought of exporting all of my information, but I feel unheard and unappreciated by Turbo Tax. Perhaps if we all send a message to the powers that be at Turbo Tax, someone will listen to our concerns and flip the magical switch to restore running totals to all Turbo Tac customers! This is a truly awful change. Having the numbers during the process is helpful for us. Our last step is entering a small income from a business, which takes the longest amount of time to do, but doesn't materially change our numbers. So it would be good if they could restore the lost functionality. Why fix it if it ain't broke?

This stupid **bleep**ing app has gotten harder and harder to use every year.  you guys **bleep** it up more and more and more and it's some what tolerable but this is beyond stupid.

I use that number to know when I've figured out your stupid mishandling of how I enter Roth IRA backdoor.  1099-R -->  owed amount goes up -->   **bleep** around with conversion/whatever in deductions until taxes owed goes back down to what it was.  Without that number it will be literally impossible to figure out if I'm using your confusing program correctly.

why........ in the **bleep**ing **bleep**!!!  can't you just let people who've used this program year, after year, after year, after year...  do their taxes the SAME WAY THEY ALWAYS DO THEM!!!!!!!?    you make it harder and harder every year and I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I NEED TO ENTER!!

Not to mention your complete botch of intuit/mint/credit karma which caused me to have TWO ACCOUNT under the same email, phone, AND SSN with taxes filed under both.  After hours on the phone last year your disjointed tech team between all these apps confirmed it was a problem but no one could figure out how to fix it.  It's still not fixed!!!!!!!!!!   In order to log in to turbotax I have to log in to mint (which now takes me to credit karma) and THEN go to turbotax.  If I try to go to the website directly I get taken to my other account I used to file taxes over 5 years ago with (so no information is pulled forward).

you guys  SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   you suck more and more every year and it's not even close.   The only people who could file taxes using your sack of **bleep** web app should be filing taxes for free because their taxes aren't complicated enough.

Your ads showing a discount if you file for turbotax for the first time explains that return customers are not your target audience.  you know you **bleep**ed up so bad that people are leaving left and right so you just try to hook new people into your experience before they realize everything they figured out last year will be tossed in the trash and it will be harder and harder until they give up and quit.

I agree 100%.  Turbo Tax was VERY much harder to use this year.  NONE of the changes they made were good for me.  Won't be using this lousy software again.

ya whatever nitwit decided to hide that needs to be doged     that is one of the finest features of TT   i have been using tt for at least 20 years    that feature was one of the nicest there was...  i have a very complex situation and like to see if a question is tripping me up a little i can use that tracker to see if i entered the value in the right place or not as i know what it should do to my taxes just maybe not quite sure if that is where or how to enter it......   tracker has ALWAYS helped me get it right.....    i am definitely not a fan of not having that.....   i hope whomever thought this looked like a good idea would see it was NOT a good idea.

This is VERY frustrating.  When trying to do your taxes on your own, each form you enter has a reaction.  This was truly the only way I was able to see which form may have caused something to swing one way or the other and enable me to research and reach out to your experts... I'm flying blind now.  This will be my last year with Turbo Tax.

taxes are terribly annoying and time consuming to file... That little number that moves as i enter income was the only thing keeping me interested (enjoying tax deductions).  I'd advise adding the option back as some of us will find a new product

I also hear that car manufacturers are not displaying how much fuel you have left in your tank until you reach your destination.

This has to be the dumbest changed I've seen from a software service. 

This is how I've done my taxes for years! It's the only way to know that I've entered forms correctly.

You may want to 'click' on the tabs showing the refund/balance due. I get the running results based on the entries as they are entered.

If you click "Explain my taxes" at the top, it will open a panel on the right. If you scroll down, you should see "Refund so far." I think this is what you are looking for.
