If you are using the online version, you can close the browser then re-open and pick up where you left off. The online version will save your latest progress. You may need to enter the information on the form again on the page where it locked up.

My screen asks did I want to continue my return  click it and then the circle goes around for 2-3 minutes and then a screen pops up saying error 23500.  Been doing this for a week.

I tried download my W2 and the screen locked at the password screen how do unlock the screen. This is crazy it will not move

If you are unable to enter your Form W-2 you can try the steps listed below. You can also enter your Form W-2 manually. I have listed the steps below to manually enter your Form W-2 as well.

Try these steps to enter your Form W-2:

• Go out of your program, close your web browser and go back in TurboTax and try to enter your form.
• Clear your cache and cookies. Click here for How to clear your cache. Click here for How do I delete cookies?
• Try using a different Web Browser.
• Try using incognito mode if you are using TurboTax Online.
• Make sure you have a strong and stable internet connection.

You can enter your Form W-2 manually as follows:

1. Click on "Search" in the top right of your TurboTax screen.
2. Type "W-2" in the search bar.
3. Click on the link "Jump to W-2"
4. Continue through your TurboTax screens to manually enter your Form W-2
