The software won't submit my taxes.

 
I've tried several times and reviewed my information and it's all correct. I'm quite upset that I paid for the service and it simply wont work. 
 
 
 
This is what keeps popping up:
 
We could not e-file your return for the following reason:
The Intuit Electronic Filing System is having difficulty recognizing the data in the return you are sending. To ensure you have the latest version of TurboTax, wait 24 hours to update your program automatically. If you still can't transmit your return, go to ...... for a solution or workaround. In some cases, you may need to file your return by mail. - 601ERRV:5, CustHdr_17 - ?:? - Invalid SMS Number. Must be between 10 and 10 digits.

If I have to guess, you must be in a foreign country.

You must make sure you use a valid 10-digit USA phone number in both your Intuit Account settings and in your return.

I am have the same problem.

Can someone please tell me if there is an issue with TurboTax? I need to file my return asap and don't have time to run down the support folks. Just tell me what I need to do? And just so you know I was born and raised in USA.

Have you confirmed that your number is a US telephone number?  If so, you might try these steps here: 

 

If you are using the Online version, please see these steps here: 

  • Log completely out of Turbo Tax.
  • Then, clear your cache and cookies within your browser and completely close out of it.  I have included the Help Articles below if you need assistance with clearing cache or cookies.
  • Re-open the browser and log back into Turbo Tax and see if this fixes the situation.
    • You can also try a different browser as well, or "incognito mode".

Clear Cache

Delete Cookies
