I talked to customer service and share screen to show a bug, didn't find a workaround and gave up on me. Then I opened a new thread with the bug description and got deleted without notification or answer in less than 1 hour. So hard to get the product be better!
I was disappointed that I had to pay almost $75.00 corrIdors
@Anonymous actually after waiting for an hour on hold and getting past the automated obstacle course, the CSRs will kindly inform you that there is no way for them to report bugs. I got to escalations once after escalations agreed my screenshots proved a calculation bug, see INV6776. After a month called back in and was told they found the investigation bug number but lost all of the information I provided to prove this bug. They said instead of trying to gather the information from me again, they gave up. They said they can no longer accept and investigate bug reports. If the SW is broken, it will stay so. Really disappointed in this.
The CSR offered me a refund as they said that was the easiest path.
I was told only the escalations team can submit bugs, aka investigations. It's really not easy to report issues.
Turbotax correctly identified that I overpaid FICA taxes by several thousand dollars last year, and then failed to submit that information for a refund. Despite paying for "Max" service, after multiple attempts I have not been able to get anyone on the phone who understands what FICA taxes are and / or graduated high school. Could someone please help direct me to a someone who: (1) knows what Social Security is and can understand / escalate the product issue, and (2) help secure the additional refund that I am owed.
