Stuck in an endless loop trying to file!

I am stuck in an endless loop trying to file my return. It says my software is not updated, but when I go to Online Update it says I am updated. I am a Kansas filer. I see the issue for Massachussets and New York, but not Kansas. Please help!

    This is a known issue. When attempting to e-file a return in the TurboTax for Windows CD/Download software, this message appears: There is an update available for your version of TurboTax. Before you can file electronically, you’ll need to get this update. To do this, go to the Online menu and select Check for Updates. However, after updating, the same message continues to reappear, resulting in an endless loop.

     

    Workaround Some customers have been able to successfully e-file with this workaround: Follow the steps in the article Troubleshoot TurboTax for Windows updating issues. Now try e-filing again. If that didn't work, first uninstall and then reinstall your TurboTax program.

     

    Finally, if you're still unable to e-file after following the above steps, you can either sign up to be notified by email when a fix has been released, or you can file a conventional paper return.

    Thank you for the response.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2x already.  It still doesn’t work.   The option of submitting via mail is unacceptable.   I use turbo tax for quick and easy taxes.   This has been far from it.   I have had my taxes done now for 5 days and have been troubling shooting ever since.  I am very disappointed.  How do I get reimbursed for the money I spent on this software

    Please contact Customer Care and let the agent on the phone know that this is a known issue and that you need to be pushed a download; a federal soft and then a state. Once the new download is pushed, you should be able to e-file with no further issues. To contact Customer Care please click the link below.
