Spouse information

I'm single and unmarried but my return can't be finalized until I enter in "spouse" information. I don't have a spouse so why would this be holding up the process on completing my return?

Click your own name in My Info. Go through those screens and see how you answered the question that asked if you were married in 2023. Say NO.

It sounds like you may have enter something incorrectly in My Infor section of your tax return.

Be sure of what you checked under About Your Household.
