Re: Schedule K-1 (Form 1041) Part III, Box 11B

Even if you take the standard deductions Box 11 (B) represents the beneficiary's share of taxes paid to settle the estate, so it should also appear on line 25 c of the 1040 under "other forms."  If you filled out the K-1 Form in Turbo Tax as the final form (Part 1 Box E checked), the sum of K-1 in Part III 11(A) and 11(B)  should show up there.

Interesting, I filled out Form 1041 Schedule K-1 Worksheet Part III Line 11B and that amount did NOT transfer (auto-fill) to Form 1040 Line 25c (blank).

Re: Schedule K-1 (Form 1041) Part III, Box 11B

Oh sorry I misunderstood the statement “it should also appear on line 25c” as an auto-fill, not that I’m supposed to manually enter it.  So did I miss some direction that said enter line 11B into 1040 line 25c?  I have no entry on k-1 line 13 so I don’t understand how line 11B ever gets to 1040 line 25c without an auto fill or some direction telling me to enter the value there.  I do see an * under line 11B to “Manually enter item here…” but that data field is not editable.
