Realtor Charged me $59,500 to prepare my house to sell but incomplete info and I cannot get in touch with them now to resolve

what is “structure sales?”

@zenmster

1. if you can pay TT to review your taxes after you finish? I am NOT talking about the automated check that TT does as part of the TT program.  If they do, anyone know how  much they charge?  If you are using the online program upgrade to a LIVE option for a review.  If you are using the downloaded there is no such option.

2. What the deadline is to e-file tax year 2021?  It was 4/18/22 however if you put the return on extension you have until 10/17/22.

Thx but I am asking what the TT deadline is to allow me to EFILE via TT. Not asking when IRS says taxes due which I know is 4/18 but they owe me money so I didn’t file for extension

You can e-file a 2021 tax return using TurboTax up through October 17, 2022.  After that date the 2021 tax return can only be printed and mailed.

but the deadline to file tax year 2021 is in feb 2022? I just found something online about this so I'm a little confused about the Oct 17, 2022 deadline - unless that's just applies to the ability to file online (?)!

Where did you see Feb 2022?  Can you post a link or screen shot?  Here is the calendar for Turbo Tax

If you are referring to the extension to file 2021 returns for those in FLORIDA & the Carolinas (due to the recent hurricane) to 2/15/2023  HOWEVER you will not be able to efile a 2021 return using the TT 2021 program after tomorrow.    https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-hurricane-ian-victims-in-the-carolinas-qualify-for-tax-relief-oct-1...

END OF YEAR STEPS FOR ONLINE USERS
E-file servers are shut down for the year for personal returns. No exceptions!   You won't be able to work on your return or get a copy of it after Oct 22.

If you have already filed your return I would double check that both federal and state were accepted here,
https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp

If you haven't filed or finished yet you only have until Oct 17 to finish and efile.   If you efile by Oct 17  you should still save and print out the pdf file NOW so you can mail it in case your efile gets rejected and you are not able to get it to go through.

If you don't efile by Oct 17 you will have to print and mail it.  If you don't finish your return you will have to switch to the Desktop program.  So you might want to switch NOW.  To switch from online to desktop and continue in the desktop version see this…….
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901476-how-do-i-switch-from-turbotax-online-to-the-turbotax-softw...

You can buy a cd or download the program here https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download
or look around at stores for sales.   Or if you already paid for the Online version you can call in and ask if they will switch you over.  Contact Customer Service  https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899263-what-is-the-turbotax-phone-number?jump_to=answer_3300041

BEFORE OCT 17
Either way if you have already filed or not filed you should save both the .tax file and the pdf file to your computer so you will always have access to it.  You might need to amend it or need a copy to get a loan, etc.

How to save the .tax2021 file,

AFTER OCT 17
October 22, 2022 is the Final deadline to resubmit a rejected return that was originally e-filed on or before October 17.  If you're expecting a refund and miss the October 22 final cutoff date, you have until April 15, 2025 (October 15, 2025 if you filed an extension) to file a paper return and claim your 2021 refund.

Have no idea where you are seeing February 2022 to file a 2021 tax return.

A tax return for the current tax year is Always on April 15 of the year or later depending on the IRS extending the date.

If the taxpayer completes a Form 4868 requesting an extension that adds 6 months to the date for filing.  For tax year 2021 the extended date is October 17, 2022.

However, any taxes owed on the tax return must be paid on or before April 15 to avoid a failure to pay penalty.

There are no penalties for filing after the due date if the tax return has no taxes owed or has a tax refund.  A tax return with a tax refund can be filed at any time within 3 years of the original due date or the extended due date if the taxpayer submitted an extension request.

Using TurboTax the 2021 tax return can be filed up through October 17, 2022.  After that date the 2021 tax return can only be printed and mailed.

Oh, are you in Florida?   That calendar says if you were affected by the Hurricane you have until Feb 15, 2023 to file and pay.   But you still can only efile though Turbo Tax until Oct 17, 2022.

Although the filing deadline for some has been extended the balance due on the return was still due last April and any penalties & interest owed will be calculated from that date so making a payment to stop or minimize the damages would be wise.  www.IRS.gov/pay
