Nope. Still saying cant find payment status,or some bull**bleep** like that.
@Cleo761 Did your IRS status ever update?
Hello,
I filed with TurboTax and had a premium service (in order to get a refund on student loan-related payments) and have not received my stimulus check. When I paid for TurboTax, I did take it out of my refund. When I go to the Get Payment website by the IRS it says that information is not available. Is this because the IRS tried to deposit money in a temporary account? What do I do next?
I got an update on the site that it was on it way and will be here tomorrow
Nope
Keep checking the “ get my payment” app
I got status not available and try again until finally
today it worked and told me it was coming tomorrow
I updated my DD info and got a message that it was successfully updated and would be deposited into account ending in (xxxx-correct account info) but to check back for a DD date. Now I get the same message many of us received: A paper check will be mailed on April 24th.
Which website did you use to update DD information?
@Tjai01 yeah now it says tomorrow it will direct deposit. Also i put the dashes in my social when i was checking where it was that might have changed things
I dont know if i did the stuff right for the stimulus check. I didnt have to file taxes.I still havent received it. And when i check on it all i get is cant check payment or something like that. How xan i find out when it will be deposited into my account
Mine still says when they have a date they will update the page
I'm sorry, but the information provided both by the IRS and TurboTax is woefully insufficient.
I see nothing explaining why there's no record of my stimulus payment..
Filed 2018 taxes.
Have not filed for 2019.
Received a refund via direct deposit.
Paid for fees by credit card (I didn't have it taken out of my refund).
Inputted my info correctly into the IRS website and have checked daily. No change in message.
It's very frustrating because it seems that there's no rhyme or reason.
And it's doubly frustrating because neither the IRS nor Turbo Tax seem to be clear with their responses or guidance. I get that the IRS can't find itself with two hands and a road map. I expect better from Turbo Tax however. I've been a loyal Turbo Tax user for more than 15 years. I've never been so disappointed in the lack of resources or adequate response.
So its been a week since the payments were supposed to be made and I've got nothing. I've even applied for a PPP loan, and they ran out of money. So I have a least another week before I can rely on that relief.
When will you be straight with us about how the IRS cant find information on Turbo Tax users?
Cleo,
How did you get to a customer service person at Turbo Tax?
I've been looking all over the site here for how to do that, because they certainly aren't telling us everything here on the website.
