The IRS will not begin to accept/reject returns until Jan. 27, so until then your return is sitting on a server. You will not hear if your return s accepted, or anything else about the loan, until the IRS begins to process returns.

Thank you for that answer .But my dad did his taxes through Jackson Hewitt about a week ago to get a advance and he got the email that his taxes was accepted by the irs .So I’m a bit confused .
There were a few returns accepted in small test batches that the IRS pulled to test the system before they begin to process returns on Jan. 27
Everyone else has to just wait.
Today is a week since filed through Turbotax and I have heard nothing from anyone yet, regarding acceptance nor denial. Today is February 15

What is the status of your tax return that is displayed on the Tax Home web page when you sign onto your online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Accepted.

Accepted.
Then your tax return was e-filed and accepted by the IRS.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
Same here .Filed February 1st.
To check your IRS e-file status, sign in to TurboTax, and go to Tax Home (if you're not already there). If you've submitted your return, you'll see a pending, rejected, or accepted status.
If you used TurboTax Desktop, follow these steps to check your e-file status:
See this TurboTax help article and this IRS webpage for more information.
For the latest information on IRS processing timeframes, see their Processing Status Dashboard.
