My stimulus check is wrong. What now?

I’m on the same boat as everyone else on this thread. Received $2900, instead of $3400. Married filing jointly, two depends, and well under the $150,000 limit. Anyone have any information on why this happened??

Check line 8b of your tax return.  That is your agi and the amount stimulus is based on.  It probably includes social security income.

 We only received $1538 we were supposed to get 2900 I hope this is corrected :(

No mines were in 2017 and 2002 I dint get dependent money and I filed both

@Timksal26   How old are your dependents?  You only get it for children UNDER 17.

Both depends are under 17. Looking at this thread, seems like this is happening to a lot of ppl

@Vanessa80   What is 2017 & 2002?  When they were born?  The one born in 2002 turned 17 in 2019 so you don't get the 500 for that child.  Only 16 and younger.

I was filed as a dependent in 2018 but this year I filed on my own for 2019. I only received 200 of the 1200 and my income is far below the cut off. Any explanation? Who do I contact?

I have received my stimulus check and only got 1200. I got nothing for my 2 kids that I claimed on my taxes?? Not sure what to do.

We also were “shorted” a dependent. We are married and have a 9, 6 and 2 year old. We filed 2019 back in February. We don’t anything to anyone and live on a single icon well below threshold. We received 3400 rather than 3900. Not complaining but curious as we are in the same boat. My sister received her full amounts for all 4 kids.
