If you are claiming him as a dependent on your tax return you do not enter his earned income on your return. He would file his own tax return to report his income and Must indicate on the return that he can be claimed as a dependent.
Did he get a W2 or 1099 for it? He probably has to file is own return. But you can still claim him on your return if he is under 19 or under 24 and a full time student.
You don't include their income on your return. It would only go on their return if they are required to file one. To file a separate return for your dependent you need to set up a new account. Online is only good for one return per account. You can use the same email address for 5 accounts. They can probably use the Free Edition. How to start a new online return

Be sure on their return they check the box that says they can be claimed on someone else’s return. If their only income is W2 and under 12,950 they do not have to file a return except to get back any withholding taken out.
Filing requirements for a dependent

Awesom. Thank you. He made less than 12k. Only made about 9 k. And was only 17 and still in school.
@zwelder81 if the $12k was on a W-2, he is no need to file a federal tax return; check for the requirements for state filing - they may be different.
if there were any withholdings, he would need to file to get that refunded; however he is not required to do so - the IRS will happily keep the money!
