Mojave OS for Apple computers is required for 2020. Thousands of 2011 Apple computers will be unable to run TurboTax. Is there a way to let Intuit know of that problem?

You can use the online version of Turbo Tax.  That's what I did this year rather than update my Mac.  It worked, though I would prefer to have the software on my computer.

So I am forced to purchase a new computer in order to use Turbo Tax.  Just another brick in the Wall.

I ended up doing it online but you can no longer do multiple returns without paying for each return.

No, you can use the on-line version or buy a used Apple that will run the updated operating system.  There are good deals out there.  I used the on-line version of Turbo Tax; it's different, but it works.

I tried to download Mac OS 10.14 from the Apple web site and it is no longer available.  Mac OC 10.14.1 through .6 will not load without 10.14. Now what do I do?  I have the Premier CD and it seems to be useless.

In a time of Covid,  it's a senseless waste of money to ask people to replace replace their 2011 computer . Don't understand if it's an Apple or TT issue but it's disgraceful!

@Frankie I As I've explained earlier in this thread, the problem was (deliberately) caused by Intuit. Apple supports development tools so that Intuit could have produced TurboTax to run on deployment targets running a range of systems from much older through the latest release. Intuit chose not to do that. Instead they compiled TurboTax so that it would only run on macOS 10,14 and later systems.

@DawnC :

Apple (like every other software vendor) extols the virtues of their newest release. They describe Big Sur as "Bold new experience. Same Mac magic. Unparalleled power. Legendary ease of use. Limitless creativity. macOS Big Sur brings a refined new design that gives you even more of the things you love about Mac." and give more details at https://www.apple.com/macos/big-sur/features/

Intuit knew that it wouldn't make any business sense to compile TurboTax 2020 so that it would only run on Big Sur and later versions of macOS.

Most of the customers complaining in this thread are pointing out that it doesn't make business sense to compile TurboTax 2020 so that it would only run on Mojave and later versions of macOS.

Since I bought for a Mac, can I switch back to Microsoft since my Mac will not take 2020 program ?

Yes.  If you have the Desktop CD it has both the Windows and Mac programs on it.  If you bought the Mac download you need to call in and ask for the Windows download.  You can transfer from 2019 done on Mac into the Windows desktop program. You just need to copy your return file ending in .tax2019 to the Windows computer.  If that doesn't cover what you need please post more details.
