Missing 2021 Form 1116

Apparently, you don't have any foreign taxes paid from a K-1 because they aren't showing up on my 1116.

There is still time to fix this inside TT.

Did you have any foreign taxes paid from a K-1? I did and they are not included on 1116.

I hope TT can fix this before i file.  Glad that it worked for you.

That's true... In this case, I only had a 1099-DIV that included taxes paid on foreign stock dividends.

Everything off and back on last evening, and it finally worked. Was able to submit both federal and California without error. Finally. Thanks to everyone for the help along the way. Clearly a black mark for TT. This, these errors and delays, should not have happened.

All, while I have not eFiled yet, and  still have a few questions about the numbers on Schedule B, I do think that in the end Turbotax came through for us. 

Thanks to many colleagues on this board the need was made clear, and they responded and pulled in the dates for us.  Having now understood the complexity of the new 1116 and Schedules that IRS only issued a few months ago, it was not an easy job.  I, for one, still find Turbotax to be an invaluable tool.

It is now 13 March and I am missing this single form!  I know I have a foreign tax credit but your program keeps saying that the form is not completed.  HELP!

Forgot to mention - yes I did the updates when I launched TT.  Have no idea what to do now.

Since you have already updated TurboTax and it is still not working for you, please contact Customer Support so you can speak with someone who can assist you.

Very sad that I seem to be the only one whose e-filed return was rejected for a Form 1116 Schedule B problem.  Filed on Sunday March 13, 24 hours later received the notice that my return was rejected with this explanation from TTax H&B Mac.  Am I the only one?

I think i have form 1116 but when i did federal review on Windows CD Download version, I receive messages that "Tax Forms to Revisit"

I still can't get Form 1116 as of 03/14/2022.  I can force the computed for ask for an update?  will it be available?

Nope not the only one my friend. Bozo using TT here .. sane. Federal return rejected on basis of potential problem with reconciliation of foreign tax credits on 1116B. California rejected as Federal was rejected. TT people, come on, how can this happen???

Our TurboTax Development Team has been working non-stop to support e-file for IRS Form 1116 Sch B. We’re happy to share that the functionality is currently available in our Online Product. Desktop functionality should be ready by Saturday 3/18/22. Look out for a new engine update and you should be able to efile!
