Yep they are way behind. You are not alone. Millions are still waiting. Turbo Tax only gives you an estimated date. The IRS usually pays most refunds within 21 days. But these are not normal times. This year is taking the IRS longer to send the refunds. There are millions more people filing returns to get the Stimulus payment.

According to latest from IRS, IRS is now opening mail as usual,
but then you may get on the queue for further processing.
There are about 13-17 million returns on the queue already.
The fact that it isn’t even showing that they’ve opened or received it on their end is what has me concerned. The post office shows it was delivered.
If your return has been keyed in,
it should show up on the "Get Transcript" page.
@plppclapp They are WAY behind-----you say that you have confirmation from the post office tracking that it was received---so all you can do is be patient and wait for the severely backlogged IRS to get to it. Last year they piled millions of mailed returns up in trailers---at least it has not come to that this year.
