Live Help

When you call TurboTax you need to have a 'Support ID" but nowhere it provides details how to obtain Support-ID. When I mention 'Need help with so , so .. '   OR 'customer service'.... the telephonic system doesn't guide the User to appropriate instructions.

I would recommend using the "Live Expert" help in the right upper corner to see if having someone walk you through helps.

As I said, I didn't find 'Live Help' button - neither in TurboTax app on the desktop Nor on Intuit Website... I read the same details that you had provided the link for live help. But I couldn't find the Button called 'Live Help'.

Only when using the TurboTax online editions will the Live Help option be available.  You have to upgrade to one of the TurboTax Live edition for this service - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/

Thank you... Thus, the missing info is that you GOT TO HAVE AN ONLINE UPGRADED VERSION TO GET LIVE HELP'. I always use CD -Download version. But, despite that, I should be able to get a 'Support ID' so that I can help on TurboTax product to complete my taxes.

Did you find the Live Help button yet, @ssonde?   That button he is referencing is inside the TurboTax software or mobile app, but you won't see it unless you are signed into a tax return.   There is a CHAT feature you can use in the lower right hand corner as well.   But you have to be signed into your tax return to see these features.

You can still get support from a TurboTax agent using the desktop editions -
