At the bottom of the column on the far left side, select No thanks to advance to the next screen.
Are you using the Desktop program on your computer? Did you get it installed ok? Sounds like you might be in the Online version instead of your installed program.
When you filled out your return was there a black column on the left side with the menu items? That was online.
I see people all the time that have bought the CD/Download Desktop Software but then somehow ended up using the Online version and didn't know it. If that happened to you, you can move your Online file to the Desktop program and continue without paying for Online or needing to reenter your info. Post back if you need to know how to move it to your Desktop program.
I bought the delux version and when i go into income from stock trades, it asks me if i want to upgrade to premier and when i select no thanks, it just hangs me up there..I don't know how to get past this and don't want to spend another $30. Can you help me?
@esluscombe Did you buy the Desktop CD/Download program? Sounds like you are in the Online Deluxe. In online you do have to upgrade to Premier to enter sales. Or you might qualify for the Free File website.

If you are in the Desktop program and not accidentally in the Online version then you do not need to upgrade. Have you updated your program? If you're on a PC, open TurboTax and select Check for Updates from the Online menu near the top. On a Mac, simply quit and reopen TurboTax. If there are any updates, you'll be prompted to download them.
If you are logging in to your return and see a black menu bar on the left side, that is the Online version not your program. We can tell you how to switch back to the program you bought.
