Not again!!! Unbelievable! They must have an ability to easily input CSV data into TurboTax that would be similar to the input from ItsDeductible. The process should be a simple import.
Thanks @VolvoGirl for pointing to that link.
So frustrating and I also agree with all those voicing displeasure and a willingness to pay extra for this service, or at least having an excel/csv import option.
~2 month "notice" via a TurboTax support article is also just sad.
VolvoGirl, so glad we can rely on you to stay on top of this! Shocked as well Intuit is trying AGAIN to discontinue ItsDeductible. And, why on earth would they do it on October 25, 2025 instead of at least allowing us to enter our December 2025 contributions?!?!?!?!?! They probably think that only a small number of Intuit customers actually have enough deductions to be able to bypass the standard deduction. I don't think that's the case. We've already said we're willing to pay extra for the service.
I already have had trouble with certain downloads with Turbo-tax., combined with the high cost of the program. The one thing it had over competetitors was the feature of using and importing its deductible. If that’s discontinued with no paid option to keep it there’s really no reason to stay.
The cost of the program combined with buggy importing from financial institutions have been aggravating. The one thing it had over competitors being able to import from its deductible. If that’s discontinued with no paid option to keep it there’s really no reason to stay.
Again? OMG I'm out. Switching to TaxAct. Heard they have the same kind of thing.
Why can't they make a freaking decision in, say, January or February - whether to discontinue it in October, after everyone with late taxes gets them in?
I may be with you as well.
ItsDeductible has been buggy as heck for me - I do dozens of foodbank donations, and trying to edit those if I enter something incorrectly is...well, last year I just kept those a spreadsheet and entered them by hand. Faster.
But if I'm entering stuff by hand anyway and have to do *all* of it....
There are cheaper alternatives if they can't manage ItsDeductible.
Please tell us the alternatives to ItsDeductible ------ I haven't found any. Thank you
Wow - it was such a bad decision they reversed it before - who’s running Intuit now the CEO of Cracker Barrel???
We have been TurboTax customers for 35+ years, first used it around 1990. This is maybe the only reason we stay with it.
Anyone recommend anything similar with a charitable app similar to Its Deductible?
Has anyone received an email or other notification from TurboTax/Intuit that It’s Deductible is being discontinued? Has there been only the one mention which was really an aside ? I’ve seen nothing.

On October 21, 2025, ItsDeductible will be discontinued.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for further information - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/login-password/export-data-itsdeductible...
This is like a punch in the gut of tens, many hundreds of thousands who use ItsDeductible. I have been using it for more than ten years and it has been incredibly useful. Its demise is a failure of Intuit, not of ItsDeductible.
People have been objecting to Intuit's decision to not support TurboTax 2025 on Windows 10 machines. Someone posted this link to comment to the office of the president. Actually results in a return phone call! Maybe if enough people complain they will reverse their decision.
