Turbo determines my full-time college son is not a dependent because he made more than $4000 last year. Anyone else has this problem?

If he was under the age of 24 at the end of 2023, the amount he earned does not prevent you from claiming him if he was a full-time student. Did you say in My Info that he was a full-time student?
Was the child under the age of 24 in 2023? If so and he was a full time student then you probably answered a question concerning him as a dependent incorrectly. You should have indicated that he lived with you for the Whole Year since he was a student. Also, make sure that when you entered his Social Security number you did NOT check the box not valid for employment.
You may just have to delete him as a dependent and then re-enter to solve this problem if he was under 24 in 2023.
Thanks. I didn't notice the fine print that says "count every month he lives away for school as living with you".
I finally got TT to admit he is my dependent.
Another question. Last year TT determined he was not my dependent either and I did not get the credit in my tax return. Is there any way I can get that money back?
