I've called their direct # three times today trying to get the system to connect me to a live agent. Every single time it basically ignores my request and wants to email me or text me info. I'm beyond frustrated. It shouldn't be this **bleep** hard to reach a live person.
I've tried saying "agent", "pricing", "price range" to get help about the different pricing options with no luck. These are the kind of companies a really loathe. They couldn't care less about customer service. What do I need to do to reach a live person???? Horrible customer service experience.

@hikerguy62 We do not know what you think you are seeing that is a "range" of prices. Each version of the software has a clear price. You seem to be confused by the variations such as "regular" online, or the "Live" versions. Each version has its own capabilities and is priced accordingly. The prices now are the "early bird" discount prices. On March 1 they go up. That is why you are seeing some crossed out prices. Is that what is confusing you?
For example
Regular --"do it yourself" Deluxe costs $39----it will increase in March
Deluxe Live is $89 -- it will increase to $129 in March
Deluxe Live Full Service is $219 -- it will increase to $259 in March
The state return is always an extra a fee with online. You can click on the state to see how much each one is.
You can always try posting your question or issue on this board.
The prices are shown clearly on the site. But since you are having some trouble understanding them, I wonder if you have a full PC or Mac. Maybe it would be better for you to consider using the CD/download software. Those fees are easier to see and understand. And you can purchase the CD/download from other retailers like Amazon, Costco, Target, Walmart, Sam's, etc. etc. too.
Do you have a computer that meets the system requirements?
I have done that, but sometimes I want to run my question past someone at the company. I found it exceedingly frustrating not being able to reach a live person easily. There's no excuse for this.
I agree prices are shown, but they show RANGES of prices but make no attempt to explain why there's a range. I've started a thread in the community forum so I don't want to duplicate things here. I'm simply looking for someone to tell me how to reach a live person at Intuit.

Sorry support service is an understatement. All I get are robo answers that are not at all related to my simple question about one tax form

I very little confidence in your “live” customer support. After receiving an email offering a one time discount for early submission, I responded with a comment that the “discount” didn’t work when I was ready to upload my completed return. It turned out that my question note went to a No Reply mailbox. So much for your customer support.
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”

What tax year are you referring to? Who is asking for a payment and for what?
